King of Armenia (c. 55–34 BC), of doubtful loyalty during the Parthian crisis; Cicero camped at Cybistra in 51 BC partly to remind him that a Roman army stood near his borders (Fam. 15.2). His sister was married to the Parthian prince (Fam. 15.3).
