One of the twenty land-commissioners (XXviri) under Caesar's agrarian law of 59 BC; on his death Cicero was invited to fill his place, an offer Cicero declined as disgraceful. FLAG: distinct from the existing person:cosconius (the beast-dealer of 56 BC, Q. Fr. 2.4).
