An architect in the service of Cornelius Balbus, said to be a fine builder, whom Cicero awaited at his villa in 44 BC (Att. 14.3).

Corumbus, a skilled architect in the service (or household) of L. Cornelius Balbus, whom Cicero had been expecting --- probably to work on one of his building projects; he knows the man's reputation but the architect has not turned up.
