A physician in whom Cicero says he 'trusts' over the illness of Atticus's daughter Attica in early 45 BC; Craterus was a celebrated Greek doctor of the age.

Craterus was a celebrated physician of the day, attending Attica in her illness; "I agree with Craterus" means Cicero defers to the doctor's prognosis. The name became almost proverbial for a great physician.
