Iamblichus
also: Iamblicho, Iamblichus the phylarch of the Arabs
Phylarch (tribal chief) of the Arabs of Emesa, held a friend of Rome; in 51 BC his letter confirmed to Cicero the Parthian crossing of the Euphrates and the alarm in Syria (Fam. 15.1).
