Reading notes
- Ad Atticum 8.15 §1 what Vibullius, sent on ahead, is doing
L. Vibullius Rufus was a prefect and trusted agent of Pompey, captured at Corfinium and released by Caesar, then sent ahead by Caesar with overtures; Atticus had been waiting to learn his movements. Cicero notes Caesar in fact never met him.
