Consul of 137 BC, called Porcina; a supreme orator and quite good writer in whom Cicero (Brutus 95-96) first sees in a Latin orator the smoothness of the Greeks and a rounding-off of words. C. Carbo and Ti. Gracchus eagerly heard him.
