A landowner from whom Cicero's neighbour C. Albanius had bought a thousand iugera, cited in Cicero's reckoning of land prices (Att. 13.31); perhaps a kinsman of Q. Pilius Celer.

Cicero cites a recent local sale as a price benchmark: the neighbour Gaius Albanius paid 11,500,000 sesterces for a thousand iugera (about 625 acres) bought from M. Pilius. The iugerum was the standard Roman land unit, roughly two-thirds of an acre.
