A correspondent who informed Cicero that he had been excused before the augur Appuleius in 45 BC; Cicero sent letters to him alongside those to Montanus.

Cicero encloses two of his own letters --- one to Marcianus, an intermediary, and one to L. Tullius Montanus regarding the latter's debt troubles --- for Atticus to forward in his outgoing packet. Routing private letters through Atticus's courier service was standard practice.
