Pharnaces
A copyist in Atticus's household; with Antaeus and Salvius, charged by Cicero with striking the name of Corfidius from every copy of the Pro Ligario (Att. 13.44). Not King Pharnaces II of Pontus.

Pharnaces was a member of Atticus's household staff who carried letters; not the Pontic king of the same name. Here he had handed on a letter for onward delivery to Vestorius at Puteoli.

Three copyists (librarii) of Atticus's publishing household, tasked with deleting Corfidius's name from every circulating copy of the speech. This Pharnaces is the household scribe, not King Pharnaces II of Pontus.
