Scholarch of the Old Academy (head c. 314-269 BC), pupil of Xenocrates and teacher of both Zeno of Citium and Arcesilas. Cicero treats him as the last great representative of the unbroken Academic-Peripatetic tradition.

Polemo of Athens succeeded Xenocrates as head of the Old Academy (c. 314-270 BC) and taught Zeno of Citium and Arcesilas. Antiochus claimed Polemo's ethics agreed with Aristotle's, the keystone of the synthesis Piso defends.
