Quintus Pompeius, son of Sextus, an old and close friend of Cicero who had repeatedly relied on Cicero's recommendations to support his fortune, standing, and authority. Commended to the proconsul Curius in Fam. 13.49. Distinct from Q. Pompeius the consul of 141 BC (person:q-pompeius-cos141).
