An otherwise unidentified tribune of the plebs in 43 BC who received Antony's letter from Celer Pilius and read it out in the Senate; distinct from the consular senator Servilius in Ad Brutum 2.2.

A contio was a non-voting public assembly; only a magistrate (here the tribune Servilius) could convene one and "lead out" a speaker to address the people. Tribunes of the plebs held this power as a key lever of popular politics.

Marcus Servilius, tribune of the plebs entering office for 43 BC, who brought the motion at the public meeting that Cicero supported. The newly installed tribunes convened the contio at which this speech was delivered.
