Reading notes
- Ad Familiares 6.8 §3 To Titus Furfanius Postumus, a familiar friend of mine
T. Furfanius Postumus was proconsul of Sicily in 46-45 BC and thus Caecina's de facto host and administrator during the exile; as a Caesarian who was also a personal friend of Cicero's, he was well placed to make Caecina's stay in Sicily comfortable and politically safe.
