Reading notes
- Ad Atticum 13.46 §3 a legacy from T. Hordeonius and to Terentia 50,000 sesterces
Cluvius's will charged his estate with legacies --- one connected with Titus Hordeonius and 50,000 sesterces to Terentia, Cicero's former wife --- but, to Cicero's relief, nothing burdening his own share. The sestertius was the standard Roman unit of account.
