Tertia, the daughter of the mime-actor Isidorus, carried off by Verres from a Rhodian flute-player; she became his last and most influential mistress in Sicily (compared by Cicero with Chelidon at Rome and with Pipa at Syracuse, Verr. 2.3.78; 2.5.31). She made the wives of Verres's Syracusan accomplices resent her presence.

Verres carried Tertia off by force from a Rhodian flute-player; she controlled the praetorship from his bed, second only to Chelidon at Rome. The Herbitan barley tithes were the apportioned revenue of her household.
