A woman at Rome whom Cicero faults in Fam. 14.16 for showing too little courtesy to Terentia. Sometimes identified with the mime-actress Volumnia Cytheris (freedwoman of P. Volumnius Eutrapelus, mistress of Antony), but the identification is uncertain.

Generally identified with Volumnia Cytheris, the freedwoman and celebrated mime-actress; Cicero rebukes her for failing in the courtesies owed to Terentia. The letter dates to early January 47 BC, written from Brundisium while Cicero awaited Caesar's pardon after Pharsalus.
