A town in southern Illyria (Illyricum), on the route between Apollonia and Dyrrachium. Its citizens (the Bulliones) undertook to give satisfaction to L. Lucceius at Pompey's arbitration, the business Cicero presses on the proconsul Culleolus (Fam. 13.42).

Bullis, a town in southern Illyria, had agreed to settle Lucceius's claim by arbitration before Pompey (Pompei arbitratu) --- a private arbitration in which a powerful patron, here Pompey, served as the agreed judge. Cicero asks Culleolus to back this settlement with his official authority.
