A Greek city on the Hellespont (the Propontis coast of the Troad), in the Roman province of Asia. Its civic community (Pariana civitas) had decreed and granted land rights to L. Genucilius Curvus (Fam. 13.53).

Greek cities under Roman rule retained their own civic assemblies, which could decree (decrevit) and grant landholding rights to individuals. Cicero asks the governor to uphold the grant Parium had made to Genucilius and which he had held unchallenged.
