The Trojan Horse
Lost Roman tragedy (probably Naevius's), on the fall of Troy by the wooden horse; revived at Pompey's games of 55 BC, with three thousand mixing-bowls (creterrarum tria milia) in its triumphal pageant.

A Roman tragedy on the sack of Troy (versions ascribed to Livius Andronicus and to Naevius). Cicero quotes its closing tag 'they grow wise too late' to tease Trebatius, who came round to good sense only belatedly.

The wooden horse by which the Greek chieftains entered Troy; Antony's charge "enclosed" Cicero among the conspirators as the horse hid the Greek leaders, a comparison Cicero gladly accepts.
