The Pro Rege Deiotaro is Cicero's speech defending Deiotarus, king of Galatia, against a charge of having plotted to murder Caesar; Cicero delivered it before Caesar, sitting as judge in his own house, in November 45 BC. Cicero here sends Dolabella the requested copy, disparaging it modestly as a slight piece.
