The engagements of April 43 BC around Mutina (Forum Gallorum on 14 April and Mutina on 21 April) in which the consuls Hirtius and Pansa and Octavian defeated Antony, relieving the besieged Decimus Brutus. The Fourteenth Philippic celebrates this victory and honours the fallen.
