The Octavian War (87 BC)

The civil conflict of 87 BC named for the consul Gnaeus Octavius, who drove out his colleague Cinna; Cinna returned with Marius and captured Rome. In Phil. 14.23 Cicero notes no thanksgiving was decreed for Cinna's victory in it.
