Alabandus

also: Alabandus, Alabandum

The legendary founder and eponymous hero of the Carian city of Alabanda, worshipped by its people more devoutly than the established gods. Cotta cites him (and Stratonicus's joke about him) as an example of a mortal made a god for civic merit.
