the Curii

also: Curios, Curii

The Curii (after M'. Curius Dentatus), cited in the plural as models of frugal, hardy old-Roman virtue. Cicero couples them with the Camilli and Fabricii in the Pro Caelio as men who made Rome great from the smallest things.
