Lex agraria of Rullus (63 BC)

Rullus's agrarian law

The sweeping agrarian bill brought by the tribune P. Servilius Rullus in 63 BC, opposed and defeated by Cicero as consul (the subject of the De Lege Agraria speeches). In Pro Sulla Cicero notes that L. Caecilius Rufus promised to veto it.
