Apuleian moneys (lex Apuleia)

the Apuleian money

also: Apuleiana pecunia, Apuleian money

The 'Apuleian money' Antony's letter accuses Cicero of using to suborn M. Brutus; probably public funds connected with an Apuleius. Cicero answers that arming so excellent a man was no crime (Phil. 13.32).
