Lex Campana

the Campanian law

also: Campana lex, the Campanian law, Lex Iulia Campana

Caesar's second agrarian law of 59 BC, distributing the public land of Campania (ager Campanus) to settlers; candidates were made to swear a self-cursing oath upholding it. FLAG: may be treated as a clause/second statute of lex-iulia-agraria-59bc rather than a wholly separate law.
