Lex Iulia iudiciaria

Caesar's jury law

also: lex Iulia, iudiciariae leges Caesaris, Caesar's juror-laws, Julian law

Caesar's law (46 BC) reorganising the jury panels (decuriae), restricting them to senators and knights and abolishing the third panel of tribuni aerarii. Cicero argues in Philippic 1 that Antony's new third decury overturns this very law of Caesar's.
