Aulus Claudius, a teacher (praeceptor) connected with the Syracusan gymnasium; Verres compelled him to restore property in a contrived case involving Heraclius of Syracuse (Verr. 2.2.140). Beyond this brief notice in the Verrines he is not otherwise attested.
