Aulus Plautius (in Bithynia)
A. Plautius
also: A. Plautium, Aulus Plautius
A connection (necessarius) of Titus Antistius, residing in Bithynia after Pharsalus; Antistius took refuge with him after the battle. Caesar encountered Antistius there and ordered him to come to Rome. Plautius himself plays no further role in the letter (13.29). Identity uncertain: possibly related to the praetor A. Plautius of 51 BC but not confirmed.
