Dynast of Derbe in Lycaonia (south-central Asia Minor), bound to Cicero by guest-friendship and the closest familiarity. Q. Marcius Philippus had become violently angry with him and held his sons in his power; Cicero pleads for the sons in Fam. 13.73 (mid-40s BC).
