Apollodorus, surnamed Pyragrus ("Fire-tongs"), described by Cicero as the foremost man (princeps civitatis) of Agyrium in Sicily and chief witness to the city's loyalty and to its sufferings under Verres (Verr. 2.3.74). He is known only from the Verrines.
