Apollonius, son of Diocles, of Panormus, surnamed Geminus ("the Twin"), a wealthy and prominent citizen of his city. Verres summoned him at a public assembly, threw him into chains, and confiscated his property in a notorious incident given pride of place at Verr. 2.5.16-23. Unknown outside the speech.
