Asclepiades

Asclepiades of Acmonia in Phrygia, the sole envoy from his city to appear against Flaccus at Rome (Pro Flacco 34). Cicero ridicules him as a man who could not even produce an authorised delegation, and so the figure shrinks in stature on close examination. Unknown outside the speech.
