Bulbum

also: Bulbus

C. Bulbus, a senator of disreputable standing and one of the corrupt jurors in the trial of Oppianicus in 74 BC, a key figure in the long account of judicial bribery at the centre of Pro Cluentio (esp. 71-79). He had been convicted of treason in his own person before the Verrines, where Cicero adduces him as a type-name for the corruptible juror.
