C. Annius Bellienus, predecessor of Fonteius as governor of Transalpine Gaul (c. 81-79 BC), responsible for the original repair of the Via Domitia which Fonteius continued (Pro Fonteio 18). Probably the same man as the uncle of L. Sergius Catiline and an associate of Sulla's circle.
