Gaius Aquillius Gallus

Gaius Aquillius

A distinguished Roman jurist of the late Republic, praetor in 66 BC and friend of Cicero, who devised the formula on malicious fraud (de dolo malo). Cotta cites his action and his definition of fraud among the legal remedies that prove reason serves wickedness.
