Avianius Evander

also: C. Avianio Evandro, C. Avianius Evander, Evandro

C. Avianius Evander was a Greek sculptor and art-restorer active at Rome and Athens in the mid-first century BC. He is attested as restoring works by Praxiteles and other masters. He was lodging in C. Memmius's Athens property and faced eviction; Cicero interceded on his behalf in Fam. 13.2, at the request of his patron M. Aemilius.
