person
Gaius Blossius of Cumae
C. Blossius
also: C. Blossius Cumanus, Gaius Blossius
Stoic philosopher of Cumae and intimate of Tiberius Gracchus, whom he followed even to the point of saying he would have done whatever Gracchus wished. After Gracchus's death he fled to Asia, joined the revolt of Aristonicus, and took his own life; Laelius cites him as the type of friendship perverted into complicity.
