Younger brother of Marcus Clodius Archagathus; also from Halaesa, Sicily. Shares the same Roman nomen (Clodius) with Greek cognomen (Philo). Connected to Cicero by hospitium and familiaritas; commended along with his brother to the proconsul M'. Acilius Glabrio in 13.32.
