A Roman knight in Catiline's conspiracy who, with L. Vargunteius, volunteered at the meeting in M. Laeca's house to assassinate Cicero at his morning levee on 7 November 63 BC. In Pro Sulla he later turns informer through his son, who serves as a junior prosecutor against Sulla.
