Gaius Flaminius

Tribune of the plebs (232 BC) who carried the law distributing the Gallic and Picene land, and consul (217 BC) killed at the battle of Lake Trasimene. Cicero (Brutus 57, 77) names him as a popular speaker of power over the people.
