Gaius Nasennius of Suessa

A Roman equestrian from the municipality of Suessa Aurunca who served as the leading soldier (princeps) of the eighth century under Q. Metellus Creticus in the Cretan War (69–67 BC). In 43 BC he sought distinction through Brutus's patronage, recommended by Cicero.
