C. Numitorius, a Roman knight from Puteoli, friend and patron of P. Gavius, the Roman citizen whom Verres scourged and crucified at Messana. He was the principal witness to the outrage and lent his name to the climactic episode of the Verrines (Verr. 2.5.163). Otherwise unknown.
