Gaius Trebonius

Trebonius

also: C. Trebonius, Trebonii, Treboni

Suffect consul 45 BC and one of Caesar's assassins; as governor of Asia Minor he was captured and murdered by Dolabella at Smyrna in January 43 BC, the first of the Liberators to be killed in the aftermath of the Ides of March.
