Gnaeus and Quintus Caepio

Cn. and Q. Servilius Caepio, distinguished consulars (cos. 141 and 140 respectively) cited at Pro Fonteio 23 as examples of weighty Roman witnesses whose testimony commanded belief; their integrity is contrasted with that of the Gallic delegates against Fonteius. Both belonged to the great patrician house of the Caepiones.
