Caesar Vopiscus

also: Caesar Vopiscus ille

A man, mockingly styled "the famous Caesar Vopiscus," whom Cicero says he defended and got acquitted five times and who in 43 BC sought the consulship directly from the aedileship in defiance of the laws. Cicero treats his candidacy as proof his earlier acquittals were wrong.
