Equestrian Roman businessman on intimate terms with Cicero. In 46 BC he had commercial interests in Sicily managed by three freedmen (Hilarus, Antigonus, Demostratus). Cicero recommends him warmly to the proconsul M'. Acilius Glabrio (Fam. 13.33).
