Cypselus

Tyrant of Corinth (c. 657-627 BC), founder of the Cypselid dynasty. Cicero (De Fato 13) uses his foretold accession, declared a thousand years earlier by an oracle of Apollo, as an example in the dispute over what is possible and necessary.
